We live in a world where 40% of our population takes at least one pharmaceutical drug daily, the top ten Fortune 500 companies are all pharmaceutical/biotech companies, and the world is under the constant threat of terrorism. Prime time news equals one hour of sound bites devoted to every human fear imaginable juxtaposed with 30 second pauses of advertisements for pharmaceutical relief.
